His background includes 10 years of experience managing his family’s business, Mattress Country, providing valuable insight into the needs of local businesses. He is also a 2022 graduate of Alabama Banking School. Mangum remains actively involved in the Shoals community, serving on the boards of Florence/Lauderdale Tourism, the University of North Alabama Foundation, YMCA of the Shoals, and the Florence Education Foundation. He is also a member of the Rotary Club of Florence.
