Sheffield, Ala.− Thursday, June 13, 2024 - Bank Independent, a leading financial institution in North Alabama, celebrated the ribbon cutting of its new sales office in South Huntsville on Tuesday, June 11. The event, which included an open house, was attended by Bank Independent executives, team members, and leaders from Huntsville and Madison County.

The new office, located at 9010 Memorial Parkway SW, marks the fourth Bank Independent location in Huntsville and the sixth in Madison County. Crystal Green will serve as the Sales Officer for the office, while Jill Waltress will serve as the Sales Manager.

We spend a lot of time intentionally creating a culture of service for our communities because that's what we were founded to do,” Bank Independent President Macke Mauldin said. “Seventy-seven years later, we've grown from $1 million to $2.7 billion, with 33 offices throughout North Alabama. Bank Independent is celebrating the 10th anniversary of its first Madison County location this year. Over the past decade, the bank has experienced significant growth in the county, culminating in the opening of its sixth sales office and fourth new office in the past year.

Expansion in Madison County includes the five-story office building at 225 Holmes Ave in early 2023, the Hampton Cove office in the summer of 2023, and the recent opening of the West Madison office in 2024.
