Sheffield, Ala.− Thursday, September 16, 2021 – Bank Independent is proud to partner with gener8tor to bring gBETA Shoals to the area. Gener8tor is a nationally recognized startup accelerator connecting creative economies. gBETA Shoals is part of an innovative program that provides a free, seven-week accelerator for early-stage companies with local roots.
gBETA Shoals will select five local start-ups to join a cohort beginning October 21 and running through January 13, 2021. Each startup will be provided individualized coaching, mentorship and networking opportunities over the 7-week program. gBETA Shoals will conclude with an exclusive Pitch Night in front of investors and community leaders. The application deadline to be considered for gBETA Shoals is October 6, 2021. Interested applicants can apply at gbetastartups.com/shoals.
Bank Independent became involved as a sponsor the inaugural cohort with gBETA Huntsville in the Spring of 2021 after learning about the program from a business client, RCP Properties. A collaboration between Bank Independent, the Shoals Chamber, Shoals Shift and First Metro Bank has been instrumental in bringing the program to the Shoals area to benefit local startups to help them better engage the investment community. gBETA Shoals aligns with the Bank’s commitment to community and economic development.
