Sheffield, Ala. – Friday, September 13, 2019 – Bank Independent is proud to announce Ben Alexander, Sales Officer at the Pine Street location, has joined the Mortgage Team as a Loan Originator.
Alexander began his career as a sales officer when he joined Bank Independent in January 2015. He recently graduated from the prestigious Alabama Banking School in Mobile, Alabama and continues to actively pursue industry knowledge. Alexander brings over seven years of career, banking experience to his new position of Loan Originator.
“I have always had a passion for helping customers achieve their goals,” says Alexander. “Buying a home is one of those exciting milestones. I’m excited to help people in our community accomplish the goal of home-ownership and look forward to serving them in my new role as Loan Originator.”
Alexander has been deeply involved in Bank Independent’s extensive community and economic development efforts. He is an advocate of the bank’s Helping Hands initiatives which provide focused support to the community. In his personal time, Alexander has dedicated himself to service projects for the United Way of Northwest Alabama where he currently serves as board president.

Alexander is a 2003 graduate of Brooks High School. He makes his home in Florence with his wife Sarah Beth their two children Mary John and Ward.
