Three Leadership Developments Reflect Bank Independent’s Commitment to People and Purpose

Bank Independent is pleased to announce three significant leadership developments that reinforce the Bank’s commitment to strategic growth, sound lending practices, and a continued focus on people and culture.

Will Alexander Promoted to SVP – Credit Administration

Bank Independent is proud to announce the promotion of Will Alexander to Senior Vice President – Credit Administration. In this elevated role, Alexander will continue to serve within the Credit Administration Department and report to Malania Nesbitt, EVP – Chief Credit Officer. Since joining the Bank in 2007, Alexander has progressed through roles of increasing responsibility across Lending Support, Credit Administration, Business Development, and Sales. Through this experience, he has developed a broad understanding of the bank’s credit practices and how sound credit administration supports responsible growth and long-term customer relationships.

Lori Hall Named SVP – Controller

Lori Hall has been promoted to Senior Vice President – Controller and will continue to oversee the bank’s accounting and financial reporting functions, under the direct report of Adam Compton, EVP – Chief Financial Officer. Lori joined Bank Independent in 2003, beginning her career as a part time proof operator while attending college. Over more than two decades with the organization, she has progressed through roles of increasing responsibility across Credit Administration and Accounting, including serving as Assistant Controller, developing deep institutional knowledge and technical expertise that support sound financial stewardship.

Justin Low Appointed SVP – Director of Human Resources

To continue to sustain and strengthen Bank Independent’s culture of service, Justin Low has been appointed to Senior Vice President – Director of Human Resources. Low will continue to serve within the bank’s leadership team, under the direct report of Penny Camp, EVP – Chief Administrative Officer. In this role, he leads Human Resources initiatives that support team member engagement, talent development, payroll operations, and organizational effectiveness. Justin holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Human Resources Management from the University of North Alabama and is a SHRM certified professional. He joined Bank Independent in 2022 and has progressed through roles of increasing responsibility, including Human Resources Manager and Director of Human Resources.
