"Her depth of mortgage experience and familiarity with our products and culture will be invaluable assets for Shoals area customers looking to finance a home." Murphy brings over 10 years of experience in the mortgage industry to Bank Independent. She served as a Mortgage Originator for the bank in the Athens market from 2013-2019. She most recently worked as a Mortgage Loan Officer at a regional financial institution from 2019-2023. She earned her bachelor’s degree in political science from Auburn University. "I am excited to be back at Bank Independent and serve homebuyers in the Shoals again," said Mallory Murphy. "Bank Independent is a special place with a great culture and work environment. I look forward to helping borrowers navigate the mortgage process and find the right financing solutions to make their homeownership dreams a reality."
