Bank Independent celebrated the opening of its new Team Campus on Monday, May 11th, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony in Muscle Shoals, marking a significant milestone in the bank’s continued investment in its team members, customers, and communities across North Alabama. Bank Independent officials were joined by U.S. Congressman Robert Aderholt, Colbert County Administrator Roger Creekmore, and the mayors of both Muscle Shoals and Sheffield, Billy Hudson and Bryan VanDevender, to celebrate the accomplishment and remark on the impact the Team Campus will have on the Shoals area.
The 13th annual Helping Hands Foundation and Bank Independent Food and Family Share Drive, conducted from April 6 through April 24 contributed a total of $7090.99 in cash and an additional 1,238 nonperishable food items and caregiving items to local partner organizations. The cash total included a $5,000 donation to the Tiny Cubs Organization, which supports local families in need and is a part of the UNA Anderson College of Nursing.
Bank Independent Launches Food and Family Share Drive to Benefit Local Families in Need
Bank Independent is excited to announce the launch of Food and Family Share, beginning on April 6th. For the past 12 years, Bank Independent has hosted the Food Share drive to help fight food insecurity in our communities. Last year, the initiative expanded to include the Family Share component, collecting not only non-perishable food items but also baby diapers to support local families in need.

While there has been a temporary Bank Independent location operating in the area for several years, this new sales office is located squarely at the front of the vibrant MidCity District, which will allow for better community visibility and the opportunity to deepen customer relationships.
